The Arden Language Centre, in collaboration with the Fourth Wave International Organization of Ukrainian Communities, is collecting items for Ukrainian children.

You can drop off non-monetary donations to the Alliance Church at 440 7th Ave East, Owen Sound, N4K 2X3. Donations are being accepted from 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday until March 31st, 2022.

They are currently accepting:

• Apparel: Brand new socks of all sizes, new underwear, briefs for children, women and men and new thermal underwear in all sizes.
• Dry Food Only: baby food (long storage), baby formula, dry milk, cocoa, cookies, dry soups, dry pasta (macaroni, etc.), energy bars, tea, coffee
• Baby Items: disposable infant changing pads and new linens, baby wipes
• Hygiene Project: shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, baby cream and other skin care products
• Bedding: brand new bedding, blankets and towels and new/nearly new sleeping bags
• Medical Products: gauze bandages, large bandages, Band-Aids, antibiotic wound cream (i.e.: Polysporin, etc.), non-prescription painkillers (i.e.: Tylenol, Advil, etc.), antiseptic liquid or wipes, first aid kits, vitamins.
