The 17th Kincardine Multicultural Celebration will occur Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Davidson Centre - from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. This is a celebration of communities and cultures coming together to foster a sense of belonging and inclusion. There is free admission, and all are welcome!

Attendees will be able to engage and learn from each other’s cultures by sampling ethnic delicacies and discovering new traditions. This event offers a unique opportunity and forum to dialogue and promote understanding within the community. It encourages us to remember the importance and benefit of inclusiveness and diversity in various cultures. These interactions strengthen our community & our workplaces. They also foster a sense of belonging and inclusion.

The Kincardine Multicultural Celebration Committee (KMCC) organized the event with support from Bruce Power, the Municipality of Kincardine, and the Kincardine District Secondary School.

The Kincardine Multicultural Celebration was founded in 2003 by Dr. Chandra Tripathi, with a vision of fostering respect and acceptance of all cultures. The first celebration was organized at Huron Heights Public school, Kincardine and attracted 200 attendees celebrating a variety of cultures.

Interested participants willing to organize an information booth with a nation are warmly welcome. Please get in touch with Chandra Tripathi at 519-396-9069 or tripathics@yahoo.com.
