National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
On September 30, 2022, the Grey Bruce Local Immigration Partnership observes the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as well as Orange Shirt Day and recognizes the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the families left behind and the survivors of these institutions.
Back to School Wheel & Ride
Families are invited to the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 1:30pm to 4pm to participate in fun activities such as an obstacle course, a children’s tattoo parlour, and to learn bike maintenance, safety rules and more. The event is organized by the River District.

Paisley Chamber of Commerce, Township of Arran-Elderslie and Where the Rivers Meet Campaign are hosting Picnic At The Palace on Saturday August 27 to welcome newcomers to the community. It is an opportunity to learn about the many services and clubs in our community and support our Foodbank
Hindu Culture Open House - Embrace Diversity Through Dialogue
Residents of Grey and Bruce counties are invited to learn and celebrate the Hindu culture at a community open house on August 13 in Kincardine. Participants can take part in yoga and enjoy traditional Hindu food, music, and dancing. Everyone is welcome at the free event, which runs from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Victoria Park in Kincardine.
