The Grey Bruce Local Immigration Partnership, Bluewater District School Board, Owen Sound Police Services, Swajan Samanvay Sanatan Centre, Welcoming Communities Grey Bruce and YMCA Owen Sound Grey Bruce Settlement & Language Services are collaborating on delivering a one-day conference to service providers, volunteers, and the public at large. It is an opportunity to explore different aspects of cultural diversity and inclusion, and how to break down barriers to making Grey Bruce more welcoming to everyone no matter their cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Taking place on Wednesday September 25, from 8:30am to 4:45pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, 1900 3rd Ave E, in Owen Sound, this event will begin with a keynote address and followed by a panel, interactive workshops, presentations and stories by individuals with lived experiences.
Lunch and snacks will be provided. During the ninety-minute lunch break, participants will get to enjoy cultural performances and visit booths from community partners and cultural organizations.
Tickets are $27 each
