GBLIP Municipality Welcome Packages (links to Welcoming Packages available on Municipality websites) - GBLIP Community Sub-committee has developed a Welcome Package Template. The English, French, Arabic and Ukrainian versions of the template were distributed to the seventeen municipalities in Grey and Bruce Counties for each to complete by added local information and resources. These Welcome Packages help newcomer residents navigate as they settle into their new home.
The Employment Standards Poster is available for download in multiple languages. It describes important rights and requirements under the Employment Standards Act, and must be provided to employees who are covered by the ESA within 30 days of their date of hire.

"Conversations for a More Inclusive and Welcoming Community" is a two-and-a-half-hour interactive EDI training which can be offered virtually or in person. The facilitators are local residents from diverse cultural backgrounds who have completed the GBLIP Train the Trainer program. Participants will explore fundamental concepts including Brave Space, Unconscious Bias, Power and Privilege, Microaggression, and Allyship.
Understanding Workforce Attraction and Retention (Migration) was a research conducted by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board (FCLMPB), incorporated an analysis on the distribution of migrant occupations and age groups and revealed positive gains in the Region’s ability to attract and retain the working age population. The Executive Summary and Observations Report are available in English and French.
