Bruce County is inviting local entrepreneurs, business owners and hiring leaders to Immigration Strategies for Workforce Success on Thursday December 7, 2023 at Best Western Plus Walkerton Hotel and Conference Centre from 7:30am to 11:30am,.

This free event is designed to help businesses discover how hiring through immigration can lead to business growth and sustainability by connecting them with immigration experts and local businesses who have successfully navigated through the pathways of hiring international candidates. It provides an engaging platform for business leaders to network, discuss and learn about the complexities and advantages of immigration in the business context. Attendees will leave equipped with practical ideas and strategies to implement immigration practices successfully within their operations

The keynote speaker, Jennifer Roggemann from Roggermann Immigration Law, was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. As a teenager, she came to Canada to complete her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Guelph and LLB (law school) at University of Victoria, BC.
